Our original film and television productions are “Canadian Content” and have to be government validated as they qualify for substantial federal and provincial tax credits and higher Canadian license fees. 

HIT TV SERIES

Muse Entertainment’s award-winning television series have aired on networks across the globe. From period costume drama to supernatural worlds, from courtroom comedy to electrifying crime drama, our TV series provide a wide range of entertainment for every age group.

Being Human – This supernatural series follows the lives of three, otherworldly roommates: a vampire, a ghost and a werewolf, all desperately trying to live as normal human beings. They help each other navigate through complex double lives while struggling to hide their dark secrets from the world. The original series is airing on Syfy in the U.S., SPACE Channel in Canada, UKTV in the UK, the Sony Networks in Italy, Asia and Eastern Europe, Antena 3 in Spain, Network 10 in Australia, DBS in Israel and more. 

Bomb Girls – This series tells the remarkable stories of women who risk their lives in a munitions factory during World War II, building bombs for the European front.  Liberated from social and cultural restrictions, they embrace their newfound freedom, changing their lives — and the world around them — forever. The original series, produced by Muse Entertainment and Back Alley Films,is airing on Global TV in Canada, Reelz Channel in the U.S, ITV in the UK, NRJ in France, YLE in Finland, DR in Denmark, Sky TV in New Zealand, TG4 in Ireland and more.

EPIC MINISERIES

Muse Entertainment’s memorable big-event, miniseries explore a variety of themes that attract millions of international viewers every year. Our award-winning miniseries, The Kennedys, was the most anticipated television production in 2011 and was watched by audiences in over 50 countries. The Kennedys, a personal portrait of America’s most prominent family, has an all-star cast including Greg Kinnear as John F. Kennedy, Barry Pepper as Robert F. Kennedy, Katie Holmes as Jackie Kennedy and Tom Wilkinson as the family patriarch, Joseph Kennedy Sr.

Along with The Kennedys, Muse has produced several other critically acclaimed miniseries, including  Pillars of the Earth, Ben Hur  and Answered by Fire, all three international co-productions,  as well as The Phantom, The Last Templar, and multi-award winning Human Trafficking, starring Donald Sutherland and Mira Sorvino. 

AWARD WINNING TV MOVIES

Muse Entertainment has developed a reputation for producing high quality television movies that engage and entertain audiences around the world. They range from romantic comedies to sci-fi and mystery thrillers. Some recent original productions include:

Cyberbully – Inspired by the tragic suicide of Megan Meier, Cyberbully tells the story of Taylor Hillridge, a 17 year-old girl who becomes the victim of vicious online harassment after she signs up to a social networking site used by the students at her high school. The bullying spirals out of control, draining her self-esteem and driving her to the brink of suicide. The original TV movie was broadcast on ABC Family in the US and YTV in Canada.

Reviving Ophelia - Ophelia tells the story of Elizabeth, a beautiful, intelligent teenager whose life is turned upside down by her domineering and violent boyfriend.  This powerful drama deals with issues such as dating abuse, sexual pressures and peer harassment that resonates with viewers worldwide. The original TV movie was broadcast on Lifetime in the US, Global in Canada, NBC Universal in Latin America and Eastern Europe, IBA in Israel, M6 in France, VMMA in Belgium, Sinema TV in Turkey and many more countries including Russia and Spain.
